Who We Are
The Fostering Families Resource Center all began with two neighbors, Greta Argenta and Bill and Cindy Ketner, who shared a heart for foster children and their fostering families. Greta and her husband, Joe, fostered and then adopted two beautiful girls in 2020. Bill is a Guardian ad Litem and advocate for kids in care. After being involved in the foster care system themselves, both began to see a very real need for a local organization to step in and support fostering families on the ground in a tangible way. And so began the FFRC!
The FFRC is all about partnering with organizations that are already out there doing the work. Here are some of our partners in this mission:
Crossnore Communities for Children
Our mission is to support the growing and urgent needs of foster children, their families and the welfare agencies in northwest North Carolina.
Our vision is to provide resources and support according to the individual needs of foster families and children, at not cost to them.
