November 2025
Here’s a snippet from our November newsletter. Head here to read the full report.
This year has been one of deepening partnerships, expanding opportunities, and celebrating the generosity of our community!
We continued to grow our relationship with Love Out Loud (LOL), who serves as our fiscal sponsor. They faithfully handle our accounting and financial matters, ensuring that all reporting is done with excellence and care. What began as a fiscal sponsorship has grown into a true partnership. They have encouraged us, supported us, and walked alongside us in many meaningful ways. We are grateful for their steady presence and the blessing of knowing our financial foundation is secure.
In 2025, we also cemented our relationship with Crossnore Communities for Children. Through this partnership, we have been able to move into a space we never imagined possible. This new home has opened doors to serve foster children and foster families in ways that bring hope and connection. Crossnore continues to encourage us and provide invaluable guidance as FFRC grows.
Our Fall Festival was a wonderful success! Though the weather wasn’t perfect, the day was filled with joy, laughter, food, and countless smiles. ✨ A heartfelt thank you to Riverwood, Crossnore, and Foster Family Alliance for sharing your time, talent, and treasure. It was truly a group effort, and the happiness on so many faces was proof of its impact.
We were also blessed by the generosity of MomCo at First Presbyterian and Holy Family Homeschool Co-op, who packed bags full of baby items and sensory tools for young children entering care—these items fly off our shelves, and we are deeply appreciative. A Girl Scout troop led by Pam Breshears and many parents came together to refresh our office space, and their hard work made such a difference. 🌟 We were honored to join Crossnore and Healthy Blue for a care package packing event, where we connected with others who share our passion for supporting children and families in foster care.
☕ We also served our dedicated social workers with coffee, lunches, and snacks. Social workers carry heavy burdens, especially during the holiday season when emotions run high and children are particularly vulnerable. It is our honor to lift them up and support them “for such a time as this.”
We are profoundly grateful for the many individuals who have given their time, resources, and financial support to bring FFRC into reality. Your generosity has allowed us to provide resources to children and families that we could have never imagined. The stories shared here are just a snapshot of what has been accomplished in the past three months. Thank you for making this possible.
